Phase II of PEACE III Programme Seeks Interest

As part of the South West Cluster PEACE III Partnership, Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council are delighted to announce phase II of the PEACE III Programme is now seeking organisations/groups wishing to be involved in the next phase of the Programme.  This distinctive programme is part financed by the EU’s PEACE III Programme for Peace and Reconciliation managed by the Special EU Programme Body.

Expressions of Interest are welcome from organisations/groups who wish to enhance opportunities for people living in their area and work towards a shared space for all.

The aim of the programme will be to reinforce progress towards a stable and peaceful place.  All projects must promote reconciliation which will help to encourage communities to work together and contribute to a shared society for everyone.

Interest is welcome from groups/organisations with the Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough that would like to develop or process an activity that will help improve dialogue and relationships among communities.  Examples of activities may involve the use of creative arts, training, facilitation, drama, sports and much more.  To discuss your idea and to seek assistance contact our PEACE III Community Facilitator, Julie Ann on 028 3756 9102 or email julieannspence@dungannon.gov.uk for further information.

Also come along to an Information Session planned for week commencing Monday 13th February 2012, where we will be happy to discuss and answer any questions you may have.
