EU Agricultural and Forestry Processing and Marketing Grant Scheme
What can the Scheme Fund?
Capital investment to erect new buildings, refurbish old premises and buy new equipment. The maximum grant payable is 40% of eligible costs and will vary depending on the size and turnover of the enterprise.
Who can apply?
Micro, small, medium and intermediate sized enterprises with less than 750 employees in the agricultural and horticultural sectors who are involved in processing and marketing including:
- Processors;
- Groups of producers who market their produce collaboratively;
- Individual producers who want to process and market their own produce.
What sectors are covered?
- Red meat, Pig meat, Poultry meat, Eggs, Milk and milk product,Potatoes, Horticulture (inc fruit and vegetables), Cereals, Forestry

2008 InterTradeIreland All-Island Seedcorn Business Competition
InterTradeIreland's EquityNetwork is responding to a gap that exists for early stage/start-up funding.
The competition is aimed at companies who have a new equity funding requirement and has a cash prize fund of €280,000.
The overall winner of the 'Emerging International Company' category will receive a prize of €100,000 and the winner of the 'Emerging Company' category will receive a price of €50,000. There are also six regional prizes of €20,000 and a €10,000 prize for ventures stemming from university spin-outs or platform programmes.
Having registered for the competition entrants are required to submit their business plan by 26th September 2008.
