Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations (Northern Ireland)
Every employer has a duty to carry out a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment of their premises which should take into account fire safety of employees, the public, visitors to the building ( including disabled visitors ) and fire fighters.
Fire Risk Assessment must be reviewed when :
There has been significant change in the matters to which it relates periodically although it is probably fair to assert that the periodicity of the review should be related to the nature of the activities on the premises and should, therefore, be part of the initial assessment.
