Civic Amenities
Technical services operates five Civic Amenity Sites located throughout the Borough for depositing of domestic, light commercial and recyclable materials.
These are serviced by a skip collection vehicle with open skips which have a capacity of 10-12m3 mainly used for general waste. The vehicle services on average 40 skips/day.
Skips are also available on each site for Green Waste and Scrap Metal which are serviced when required by a second rear end skip loading vehicle or a lug loader lorry.
Skip sites are manned and open to the public six days/week during the following hours with the exception of Public/Statutory Holidays:-

Commercial operators using the sites will be charged £4.50 per cubic metre for un-compacted waste deposited.
