Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council controls three municipal and communal cemeteries :

Street Cleansing
Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council provide a street cleaning service to comply with the NI Litter Code. All towns, villages, hamlets and various roads within the Borough have been categorised and are cleaned accordingly.
Public Conveniences
The Council currently own and maintain 12 Toilet blocks throughout the Borough for the use of the general public including visitors. A cleaning service is also provided. Each toilet has a designated caretaker and hours of work range from 7 - 14 per week.
Council operates three Toilets which have 24 hour availability however all other toilet blocks are made available from 8.00am to 6.00pm or dusk, whichever is latest.
The Council has in place Automatic Public Conveniences, supplied by JC Decaux, at two locations within the Borough, Dungannon and Caledon. These fully automated toilets provide 24 hour availability.
Grounds Maintenance
The Council's grounds maintenance programme incorporates all amenity and sports areas, parks and open spaces and the general landscaping and planting of prescribed areas. The Council has been successful on a number of occasions in achieving first place several competitions including Ulster in Bloom, Britain in Bloom and Livcom.
Environmental Enhancement Schemes
The Council has also been involved in environmental enhancement work on areas throughout the Borough which had been identified by various community groups and local residents as areas which were in greater need of development.
Building Maintenance
The Council has an in house building maintenance section which is engaged in an annual maintenance programme for all of the Council's facilities. Periodic inspections and remedial repairs are also carried out when necessary. The Council is also committed to a programme of upgrading facilities which are currently in existence.
Vehicle Maintenance
The Council provides an effective and reliable fleet of vehicles, plant and equipment in order to deliver all services relative to the needs of all Council Departments. It currently maintains and repairs a fleet of fifty vehicles ranging from heavy goods to light vans and other associated plant and equipment.
