Working together for the safety of the community
Community Safety is about working together to reduce crime, the fear of crime and anti-social behaviour.
In 2003 a Community Safety Partnership was set up and led by the Council, to drive this initiative forward.A range of organisations from the statutory, voluntary and community sectors work together to tackle issues that affect people's rights to live without crime, the fear of crime and anti-social behaviour.
Dungannon & South Tyrone Community Safety Partnership has developed a Community Safety Strategy that determined our Action Plan.
