Technical Services
The core services delivered by Technical Services relate to refuse collection, street cleansing and burials plus many other issues such as grounds maintenance, environmental enhancement, recycling initiatives, landscaping, minor works, street/road naming and other associated services such as building and vehicle maintenance.
Waste management and recycling issues, as well as the meetingof current and pending European Directives applicable to NI are also high on Council's agenda.
The Council is committed to the 3R's principles of reducing, reusing and recycling and will continue to implement initiatives which will help meet the stringent EU targets.
