EMPOWER Programme

Delegates from Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough Council & S.E.E.K Management Committee have just returned from Malaga, Spain where they visited various women's organisations and Malaga City Council. A number of visits were organised through The EMPOWER project which seeks to look at training opportunities for women & particular self-employment opportunities. 'The project is part financed by the European Social Fund & the Department for Employment & Learning under the Northern Ireland ESF Programme 2007-13'. A number of countries are involved in the partnership including UK, Spain, Slovenia, Poland and the Republic of Ireland.
