Haunted Hallowe'en Tours

Publish Date: Friday, 10 October 2008

Dare you take part in a spooky tour of Dungannon? Dare you explore the history of Castle Hill in the dark of night? Dare you hear of the Masonic Hall on Thomas Street in days gone by? You do? Great! Then it's about time you booked your place on this year's new Haunted Tour of Dungannon which takes place nightly from Monday 27th till Thursday 30th October.

The Haunted Tour is an ideal way to get the whole family into the spirit of Hallowe'en and following last year's successful run of ghostly trails, a host of new venues and surprises have been added in this time around to make sure you all get an extra fright! One participant on last year's trail said:

"Events like this make me proud to be from Dungannon. It was brilliant, very scary, the guide was really witty and the costumes and make up were excellent!"

The tours are arranged as part of the Hallowe'en Spooktacular celebrations as arranged by Dungannon Regeneration Partnership and Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council, supported by Newell Stores and Dungannon Enterprise Centre, which culminates in a magnificent fireworks display on Friday 31st October at 8.30pm.

With four tours running every evening, patrons are advised to book early as last year's places were snapped up in record time. Don't delay - book your place now on the Haunted Tour for a creepy night out to remember. Admission is £5 per person with family rates available, all proceeds are in lieu of Marie Curie Cancer Care. Book by telephoning Ranfurly House on 028 8772 8600/028 8772 8602.
