UTV Stars to Host Achievement Award Ceremony

UTV’s Husband and Wife Team Mike Nesbitt and Lynda Bryans have been announced as the hosts of Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough Council’s fifth Annual Achievement Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 16th March. Preparations are now in full swing for the most one of the prestigious civic event ceremonies in the province, which recognises the talents and achievements within the local community.
The Achievement Awards, which has to date succeeded in being one of the Borough’s most enjoyable and entertaining community events, is guaranteed to exceed expectations again this year as it is headed by one of TV’s most talented and professional duos.
Mike Nesbitt a former Irish International Athlete and BBC sports reporter better known today for his role as anchorman and co-presenter of UTV Live, and weekly current affairs programme ‘Insight’ will co-host the event with his wife Lynda. Lynda is one of Northern Ireland's best-known television broadcasters and was the very first presenter of the popular 'Animal Hospital' programme, along with Rolf Harris. Lynda’s accomplished career in television to date includes reported for 'The Holiday Programme', co-present UTV Live 'Sunday Morning' programme as well as ‘Home Sweet Home’ with husband Mike.
