Family Fun and Good Food at US Grant's Homestead
Kids climbing the walls? Weather getting you down? Holidays been and gone, or too far into the future?
If this sounds all too familiar, then it's almost time to pack up the family and head to the annual Car Treasure Hunt and Barbecue at U.S Grants Ancestral Homestead, Dergenagh Road, Dungannon on Thursday 24th July 2008 at 7.30pm.
Form a team of friends, family or neighbours and have fun challenging your brains around the beautiful rural countryside of the US Grant Homestead.
Work up an appetite for the BBQ and that awaits you back at Grants Homestead as you solve the cryptic clues from the comfort of your car.
Entertainment is provided for all those taking part and the Homestead has beautiful walkways and a fully equipped children's play area and entry fee is in the form of a voluntary donation to Cancer Research.
Don't be bored this summer - Dungannon and South Tyrone is bursting with events from open air theatre on Castle Hill (19/20 July) to Ireland's largest Country music festival (2/3 August) and a speedy chase down Market Square in the form of the Gannonball Run on Bank Holiday Monday 25th August.
For further information on events and things to do, contact Killymaddy Tourist Information & Craft Centre on 028 8776 7259 or visit Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council's website www.dungannon.gov.uk.
