Multi-Media Centre for Dungannon
Publish Date: Friday, 04 June 2004
Calling ALL bands, musicians and singers
Do you live in the Dungannon and South Tyrone area? Are you aged between 11-25? If yes, you could play an important role in the development of a new Multi Media Centre for youth, where you or your band can come along to perform. In the future when the centre opens you will have the opportunity to record and write your own music in a relaxed environment, with excellent quality equipment. If you love music and have always dreamt of recording your own CD, or teaching or learning musical instruments then we urge for your help.
Have you any ideas that would be useful for the multi-media centre?
What equipment do you think may be useful? Or perhaps you just want to find out more, then come along to the Bank Buildings, 26 Market Square, Dungannon on Monday 21st June 2004 at 7.00pm. If you are unable to attend on this night, but have an interest, do not hesitate to contact Seana from STYMC.
The South Tyrone Youth Management Committee (STYMC) has allocated Peace II funding to the value of £60,000 from the STAP LSP programme. The event is being organised as part of the youth strategy, which recognises the importance of young people playing a key role in future youth provisions and furthering the talent of youth in the area.
Further information on the multi-media project can be obtained from Seana O’Donnell, Youth Project Officer, South Tyrone Youth Management Committee, Bank Buildings 26 Market Square, Dungannon. Telephone Number 8772 8623.
“This project has been supported by the South Tyrone Youth Management Committee with funding received from STAP LSP under Priority 3 Measure 2 of the Peace II Programme.”
