SHORT STORY COMPETITION

A Short Story Competition is being launched as part of this years Arts Festival which takes places from 2nd to the 10th October 2008.
Aspiring authors are invited to submit an original typewritten story which must be between 2000 and 5000 words, and the opening sentence of the story should read 'It was a beautiful morning.............'
The First prize for the competition is £300, second prize is £200 and the third prize is £100.
Entries should reach the organisers no later then August 20th, and must be accompanied with the author's contact details.
