BIKE THE BLACKWATER- 1 RIVER, 3 COUNTRIES AND 4 ESTATES!

On Sunday 15th June a brand new cycle event will take you through some of Ireland's most stunning countryside and oldest, most historic estates.
The Bike the Blackwater cycle route will follow the route of the Blackwater River- starting from Blessingbourne Estate in Fivemiletown and continuing through counties Tyrone, Monaghan, Armagh then through the Blackwater valley before returning to Blessingbourne Estate.
This route will showcase the spectacular attractions and scenery the Blackwater Region has to offer including its fantastic cycling terrain.
The route will take in some of the finest estates in Ireland including Blessingbourne Estate Fivemiletown, Castle Leslie Glaslough and Caledon Estate.
With the start of the summer weather the time has never been better to get out and explore the wonderful countryside we have on our doorsteps. Special access has been granted to the Castle Leslie and Caledon Estate making this ideal opportunity discover the delights of these historic estates.

The Blackwater Regional Partnership's successful formula in facilitating another large scale outdoor recreational event highlights the sterling work of the three county Local Authority alliance of counties Armagh, Monaghan and Tyrone'
All entry fees for the trail will be in aid of Sporting Hearts and anyone who completes the trail will be presents with a Bike the Blackwater t-shirt and commemorative medal to mark the occasion.
Bike the Blackwater has been jointly organised by Blackwater Partnership and Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough Council. The event has been funded through Blackwater region partnerships and natural resource tour
