Christmas Celebrations in Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council

Get into the festive spirit in South Tyrone from November 24th, with lively town centre celebrations at the lights switch on parties and retail therapy at the annual craft and food fair, plus shopping galore as Dungannon's traders prepare for the busy Christmas season.
Fantastic Festive Food
Tickle your tastebuds at the outdoor Food Fayre in Market Square on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th November, from 10am to 4pm where you can sample continental, gourmet and the finest locally produced festive foods with food sampling and tasting in an outdoor Christmas market.
Creative Christmas Craft
St Anne's Church Hall in Church Street is the venue for this year's Christmas Craft Fayre (formerly held at Linen Green), where you will find a treasure trail of exclusive Christmas gifts from Tyrone's optimum craft producers. Stalls will include handcrafted giftware, handmade cards, stocking fillers and lots more, with Christmas choirs, children's entertainment and Santa's Grotto. The Fayre is open from 3pm - 9pm on Friday 24th and 10am - 5pm on Saturday 25th November.
Super Switch On Parties
Join the stars of CITV's 'Bel's Boys' at the switch on of the Christmas Lights in Dungannon on Saturday 25th November from 5pm. The lads, who include Dungannon's very own Eoin Logan, are currently enjoying a successful run on ITV at present in the show which features them as a boyband who have a nine year old manager. In reality, Bel's Boys have signed a record deal with Universal Records and will release their first single (the soundtrack of the TV series) very soon!
Additional entertainment includes a powerful carol service by Clonmore Choir with Dungannon Area Churches Forum, face painting and balloon modelling and for the first time, a Christmas parade featuring stilt walkers and glo jugglers will lead Santa Claus to town, just in time for the big switch on at 6.15pm. Don't miss it!
Coalisland's Switch On Party runs from 4pm on Saturday 3rd December with special guest Emma from RTE's 'The Den!' Come along and see everyone's favourite pre-school TV presenter as she takes you through an action packed evening of entertainment including live music from Jokers Wild, a carol service by Coalisland Folk Choir, a hilarious sketch and musical performance from 'Oh Yes It Is (the new pantomime from CRAIC) and lots more. Who knows - maybe Emma might take along her friendly sidekick Sokey.

Beauty Principles at Killymaddy
Killymaddy Tourist Information Centre will host a beauty demonstration evening to prepare you for the festive party season at U.S. Grants Ancestral Homestead, Ballygawley on Thursday 7th December at 8pm.
Angela Devlin from Supreme Beauty, Benburb, will be on hand to offer some useful advice on how to look and feel beautiful this Christmas. Angela will reveal the season's colours using her 'TIGI' make-up range as well as demonstrating a variety of 'Priadara' skin care products, 'St Tropez' tan range and nail art. There will also be the opportunity to buy some of Angela's wonderful beauty products, which would make ideal Christmas gifts for friends and family.
Following the demonstration, guests can take advantage of the opportunity of a question and answer session with the professionals and light refreshments will be provided.
