Mayor of Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough Council, Councillor Michelle O'Neill MLA with staff and instructors involved in this year's Parklake Summer Angling School

Calling all Kids! Learn to fly fish this summer at the Annual Angling Summer School, which will be held at Dungannon Park lake from Monday 2nd to Friday 6th August.

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro, come along and enjoy the fun-packed practical and theory sessions designed to get you hooked on Fly-fishing

Neville Simpson, Dungannon Parks resident angling instructor believes that this year's summer school is an excellent opportunity for Children of all abilities to learn or improve their Fly-fishing skills:

"This year we hope to add to the hundreds of boys and girls that have sampled the fly-fishing experience during past summer schools at the Park Lake. All children will be supervised under professional instruction and five days of fun-packed action are guaranteed. So whether your child has some previous Fly-fishing experience or not, it doesn't matter. This is a brilliant opportunity for them to try something different and hopefully develop an interest that will stay with them for years to come."

All angling equipment will be supplied only a pack lunch and sensible outdoor clothing is needed. All our participants receive an angling certificate of competence and an all-important angler's starter pack.

To register your child for the Angling Summer School, please contact Dungannon Park Lake on 028 8772 8690 or email dpreception@dungannon.gov.uk
