Empower Project - SEEK Programme

Council delegates have recently returned from a trip to Slovenia, partner in their current transnational project - E.M.P.O.W.E.R (Enhance Mobilities, Prepare Opportunities for Women and Exchange Results).
This programme is part financed by the European Social Fund and the Department for Employment and Learning under the 'Northern Ireland ESF Programme 2007 - 13'.
Delegates visited a number of business entrepreneurs co-ordinated by Mrs Marta Turk, President of the Chamber of Commerce in Ljubljana. Other partners in the project include:- Spain, Poland and Republic of Ireland.
The project focuses in particular on developing women entrepreneurs and examines mentoring and networking opportunities.
