Angling Summer School to keep kids Hooked this Summer!

Still looking for fun activities to keep the kids entertained during the summer holidays? Why not register them for Dungannon Park Lake's Summer Angling School, which will take place at Dungannon Park from Monday 30th July to Friday 4th July, and a second week from 4th-8th August for children aged 11 years and up. Five fun-packed days of fishing under professional instruction are guaranteed!
Instructors Packie Trotter and Pat Mulholland, are well respected in the world of fly-fishing and have passed some of the world's most demanding qualifications. Packie believes that the first ever Fly-Fishing School in Dungannon is an opportunity not to be missed for all budding anglers in the area:
"The Park Lake Angling Summer School is great opportunity for kids to try something different this summer and hopefully obtain an interest which will stay with them for the rest of their lives. At the Angling Summer School our main focus is to ensure that the children are enjoying themselves, whilst at the same time picking up some useful angling tips which will hopefully improve their fishing ability. Whether your child has previous fishing experience or not, this is a chance not be missed."
Irrespective of angling skills or ability, at the Park Lake Angling Summer School children are encouraged to: hone their angling skills through theory and practical sessions; learn new ideas and meet new people; stay active and healthy; and have fun!
Children will also receive an all-important angler's starter pack consisting of a tackle box, angling licence, fly-fishing certificate and a nifty Park Lake T-Shirt and Hat.
As well as providing the perfect opportunity to get hooked on fishing, the Summer School will also allow kids to meet new friends and, on the final day, they will compete in a fly-fishing competition with the chance of winning lots of great prizes!
Places will cost £20 per child per week (£5 secures), with family discounts available: All children will be fully supervised under the professional instruction of expert fly fishers, with all equipment supplied.
