Northern Ireland’s Ancient Woodland – Back on the Map
Ancient woods are irreplaceable. They are also incredibly rare and make up a very small percentage of Northern Ireland’s already low tree cover, (Northern Ireland has only 6% tree cover). Through the Woodland Trust’s project, they are being put ’Back on the Map’ in Northern Ireland. Find a wood near you!
