Q1. What local newspapers target the Dungannon and South Tyrone area?
A. The Tyrone Courier, Dungannon Observer, Tyrone Times and The Democrat are produced weekly, targeting readers in the wider Dungannon and Coalisland areas. Nearer the Fermanagh border, readers in towns and villages such as Augher, Clogher and Fivemiletown also buy the Ulster Herald and Tyrone Constitution.

The Councils Public Relations Officer is based in the Communications Unit of the Chief Executive's Department. Press enquiries are dealt with at 028 8772 0341 or email emma.heatherington@dungannon.gov.uk.

A. Yes. The magazine is called ‘Update’ and is produced twice a year. It is distributed to all residents and businesses by post within the Borough area.

A. Contact the Council’s Public Relation Officer (Tel: 028 8772 0341) to order a Welcome Pack which includes information on Council facilities, events, libraries, schools, health and lots more.
